Aaron Halimi - President
Aaron Halimi is the Founder and President of Renewable Properties based out of the company’s headquarters in San Francisco, California. As the President, Aaron’s responsibilities include driving strategy and growth for the organization and project partners. With over a decade of solar project development and institutional real estate experience, he has over 500 MWs of direct development experience across multiple transactions and project sites throughout the U.S.
Prior to founding Renewable Properties, Aaron worked as a Senior Vice President of Solar Development for Gardner Capital where he ran the solar division, overseeing all solar development activities, project acquisitions and joint development agreements. Prior to joining Gardner Capital, Aaron was with Borrego Solar Systems, where he led the origination and development efforts of utility solar projects. Prior to his professional time in the solar industry, he worked in the institutional real estate investment arena and developed utility scale solar projects on an entrepreneurial basis.
Aaron holds a CA Real Estate Brokers License and is a LEED Accredited Professional. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an MBA from the University of San Francisco. He is also a published author with work appearing in the “The Business of Sustainability: Trends, Policies, Practices, and Stories of Success, Vol. I-III” (Prager Press, 2011).

Allan Riska - Vice President of Finance
Allan Riska is a Vice President of Finance for Renewable Properties based out of the company’s corporate headquarters in San Francisco, California. As Vice President of Finance, Allan leads a team that sources and closes capital to finance solar projects from development through operation. He works with various banks, financial institutions, capital providers and partners.
Allan has been in the solar energy industry for seven years and has closed over $1.5 Billion of capital across 600 MWs. Prior to joining Renewable Properties Allan spent three years as a Director on the Project Finance team at Cypress Creek Renewables where he led project financings on utility scale and community solar facilities. Before joining Cypress Creek Renewables, he worked as a Senior Manager in the Project Finance group at SunEdison where he financed utility scale and C&I solar facilities for SunEdison and Terraform. Allan started his finance career working with structured products at Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch.
Allan holds an undergraduate degree in finance from Virginia Tech and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley Haas School of Business.

Brian von Moos - Chief Development Officer
Brian von Moos is the Chief Development Officer for Renewable Properties based out of the company’s corporate headquarters in San Francisco. As a the CDO, Brian is responsible for Renewable Properties’ strategy, origination and development of greenfield solar projects.
Brian has been in the solar energy industry for over 15 years and has originated over 900 MWs of renewable energy projects. Prior to joining the team in 2019, he worked as VP of Origination for Coronal Energy where he managed sales and the origination of power purchase agreements for large solar and battery storage projects. Prior to Coronal, Brian worked at Borrego Solar for 12 years holding several leadership positions including VP of Utility Project Development where he oversaw the development and origination of small utility solar projects throughout the U.S.
Brian obtained his NABCEP certification in 2006 and holds a BA in Psychology with Highest Honors from the University of California at Santa Cruz.

Faris Matin - Director of Development
Faris Matin is a Director of Development for Renewable Properties based out of the company’s corporate headquarters in San Francisco, California. As a Director of Development, Faris’ responsibilities include originating and executing the development of solar projects across the United States. He works with various project partners, utilities, landowners, investors, developers and community stakeholders.
Faris has over 14 years of experience in energy and real estate development. He has been in the solar energy industry for over 10 years and joined the Renewable Properties team in 2018. Prior to joining the team, Faris was chief development officer for ImMODO Development where he led the company’s utility scale solar project development efforts throughout the United States. Prior to joining ImMODO Development, Faris was a project development manager at sPower, where he led the development and construction of 175 MWs of large utility scale solar projects in the Antelope Valley of Los Angeles County, CA. Prior to joining sPower, Faris held positions with Borrego Solar and Renewable Energy Trust where he played an integral part in the sale, acquisition, financing and development of commercial solar projects.
Faris received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Oregon, with a concentration in Finance. Additionally, he has held a CA Real Estate License and completed coursework in Real Estate Finance, Investments and Development at the University of San Diego School of Business.

James Brady - Controller
James Brady is the Controller for Renewable Properties based out of the Company’s corporate headquarters in San Francisco. As the Controller, James’ primary responsibilities include financial, tax and technical accounting for Renewable Properties, as well as, asset/fund management and budgeting.
James has been in the solar energy industry for over seven years and joined Renewable Properties in 2018. Prior to joining the team, James was the Director of Commercial Finance and Accounting for Sungevity, where he led finance and accounting for the company’s C&I division, provided technical accounting for tax equity ventures and completed a $500M project asset sale with Sunrun. Before joining Sungevity, James worked at Deloitte’s Audit Practice, where his primary focus was on Series A and B-type clients who required his expertise to take them through their S-1 to their IPO. James started his career with Andersen’s Tax Consulting division, where he worked inside their Private Client Services department, which is where he obtained his first taste for the energy industry while working with Enron, his largest client.
James is designated as a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) from the state of California. He earned his BA in Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara and his Masters in Environmental Science from the Bren School at the University of California.

Stephanie Loucas - Director of Development
Stephanie Loucas is a Director of Development for Renewable Properties based out of the company’s corporate headquarters in San Francisco, California. As a Director of Development, Stephanie’s responsibilities include the development and execution of solar projects throughout the United States. She collaborates with a variety of stakeholders from landowners, investors, governmental agencies, community members, utilities and contractors to bring projects to completion.
Stephanie has been in the solar energy industry for over five years and successfully developed and constructed over 450 MWs of projects. Prior to joining the team in 2019, Stephanie worked as a Development Manager for Lightsource BP where she developed utility-scale solar projects in the west and southeast regions. Before joining Lightsource BP, she worked as a Development Manager at RES Americas where she was the primary solar developer for utility-scale projects across the western region. Additionally, she worked on three large wind projects in the west. Prior to joining RES, Stephanie was with Scatec Solar where she was part of the development team that built the first utility-scale solar project (104MW) in Utah. Stephanie’s prior experience includes senior roles in the tech industry where she focused on real estate, construction and mergers and acquisitions.
Stephanie earned her bachelor’s degree from Quinnipiac University.

Bill Love - Project Developer
Bill Love is a Project Developer for Renewable Properties based out of the company’s corporate headquarters in San Francisco, California. As a Project Developer, Bill’s responsibilities include locating land suitable for solar farm development and being the primary liaison with landowners and local community stakeholders.
Bill has been in the solar energy industry since 2009 and joined Renewable Properties in 2018. Prior to joining the team, Bill worked as a Project Developer for ReneSola where he focused on developing utility-scale solar projects throughout Northern California. Prior to joining ReneSola, he worked as a Project Developer for Stellar Energy developing solar projects for commercial and industrial customers. Before that, Bill was a Director of Operations for Foresight Solar where he did solar project site acquisition work, fatal flaw analysis and was responsible for development cash management.
Bill is a licensed California Real Estate Salesperson. He earned his Masters Degree in International Affairs at Columbia University and his Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University.

Erin Takata - Development Analyst
Erin Takata is a Development Analyst for Renewable Properties based out of the company's corporate headquarters in San Francisco, California. As a Development Analyst, Erin's responsibilities include analytical support and planning for the development of solar projects throughout the United States. She works with a team of developers on project-specific diligence tasks and research initiatives.
Erin has been in the renewable industry for four years and joined Renewable Properties in 2019. Prior to joining the team, Erin worked as a Technical Sales Associate for CivicSolar where she worked with engineering partners to obtain electrical permits for residential and commercial solar projects throughout the United States. Additionally, she prepared solar equipment proposals and provided technical guidance to customers while maintaining a large portfolio of accounts. Prior to joining CivicSolar, she worked at an eco-travel company to help develop a trip-planning website with carbon offset features.
Erin earned her bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara and her master's degree in Environmental Management from the University of San Francisco.
