Sonja Ortiz is a Real Estate Manager for Renewable Properties. As a Real Estate Manager, Sonja’s responsibilities include managing the closing of real estate transactions, title and survey review, due diligence, and risk identification and analysis. Sonja has a legal background in both private practice and title insurance spanning nearly twenty years. Sonja has been in the renewable energy industry for eight years and joined Renewable Properties in 2026. She has managed the real estate development for solar, wind and battery storage projects, most recently at Enel North America, Inc. She is a graduate of the University of Iowa and William Mitchell College of Law.
