Louis Langlois is the Director of Origination at Renewable Properties based out of the company’s corporate headquarters in San Francisco. As the Director of Origination, Louis’ responsibilities include developing and executing strategies to originate power purchase agreements and other energy related offtake contracts for RP’s growing portfolio of distributed scale energy assets across the country. Louis has been in the energy industry for 16 years spanning technical and business roles, with a track record of improving operations, identifying new market opportunities, and achieving both strategic and commercial results. His experience includes over $200M of project development and transactions with C&I, utilities, and real estate clients. Prior to joining the team in 2025, Louis led a commercial and investment team focusing on project development and origination for C&I and community scale projects at EDPR. Prior to that, Louis was one of the early employees at Carbon Lighthouse, a national energy services and software provider for commercial real estate owners. Louis obtained his NABCEP certification in 2016 and holds a BA in Physics from Wesleyan University.
